We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or user information.

• GPX Files: When you select and load a GPX file into the App, the file is read and processed entirely on your local device. The data within the GPX file (such as coordinates, timestamps, and elevation) is used solely to render the trail on the topographic map and generate the elevation chart. This data is never uploaded to any server or shared with any third party.
• Location Data: If the App requests device location permissions, it is only to display your current position on the topographic map. Your location is processed locally in real-time and is never tracked, stored, or transmitted.

2. Permissions Used

To provide its core functionality, the App may require the following permissions:

• Storage / File Access: Required to allow you to select and load GPX files stored on your device.
• Internet Access: If the App streams topographic map tiles from an external service, internet access is used strictly to fetch those visual map tiles. No user data or trail data is transmitted during this process.

3. Third-Party Services

The App may utilize third-party map tile providers to render the topographic map. These providers only receive standard network requests necessary to fetch map images (such as your IP address and the specific map coordinates being viewed). They do not receive any data about your loaded GPX trails or personal identity.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Because we do not collect or store any of your data on external servers, we retain no data to delete. Any files you open or configurations you set remain entirely on your device and can be removed by clearing the App's cache or uninstalling the App.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App does not collect any data, meaning it is inherently safe for children and complies with children's privacy regulations, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and GDPR.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or on our official app store page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
